Tank sumps are positioned on top of a fuel tank’s collar to provide key inspection, safety, and containment functions. They allow operators to easily inspect the tank interior for corrosion, sediment, or maintenance needs. Our modern sump design enables simple installation of pipes and seals on a flat-sided surface, eliminating the need for confined space compliance and improving both efficiency and safety.
In case of a fuel leak or spillage from equipment installed on the manway cover, the sump acts as a containment area, preventing fuel from spreading and reducing environmental risk. The watertight sump cover prevents water from entering the tank, protecting the stored fuel.
Fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) flanges or nozzles play a vital role in industrial applications, particularly in the construction of tanks and vessels.
